Soon after receiving Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour in 1983 December, Apostle Humphrey, as he is commonly known, started out in the work of ministry.
For many years Apostle Humphrey the founder and apostolic leader of IgniteHouse ministries international served in different ministries at different capacities prior to the birth of IgniteHouse Ministries International (IgniteHouse) in 2004.
His approach to ministry is premised on the words the Lord told him in 2004 when the ministry started, “people shall come, people you do not know, people you do not expect”
“I will show you things you’ve never seen. If you really want to see such things, things you’ve never seen, start doing the things that I your God has never seen you do”
Now, fast forward more than 14years, these revelatory words have kept Apostle Humphrey and ministry growing by grace.
Apostle Humphrey has great passion for souls, and wants to see believers activated and functioning in their God-ordained purpose. Prayer has been very central to Apostle Humphrey’s ministry since inception and as such prayer centres are being established and strengthened in different regions. Establishment of these would have fulfil his core burden for ministry. He believes that God has called us to watch with Him, we should watch over nations and His church globally.
Apostle Humphrey, as we know him, is an apostolic voice that has been called to equip believers and the Fivefold Ministry by imparting sound biblical truths and revelation including deliverance, spiritual warfare and prayer.
As of today, Apostle Humphrey has ministered in churches beyond the border of his home country, South Africa. His multifaceted approach has however touched many more, even from regions and nations he has never visited.
Apostle Humphrey has been called to help develop strong churches, and ministries within the body of Christ, and he currently oversees a number of churches and fivefold ministers that are gradually coming to him for help, either as sons, or just under the network, which is due to be launched.
Also, Apostle Humphrey is well known by his peers and sons for his humility, simplicity, and extraordinary wisdom, “wisdom beyond his age” as expressed by some. He was at the peak of his career in the field of Science when he finally surrendered his life to his God-ordained purpose in 2004 after many years of wrestling with the Lord. He holds a Master’s degree in Science.
He is happily married to Prophetess Mufunwa for the past 26 years. They are blessed with three beautiful children, Tshilidzi, Uhone and Nakelwani.

Prophetess Mufunwa served in various ministries from 1989 prior to the birth of IgniteHouse Ministries International in 2004.
She’s been happily married to Apostle Humphrey for the past 26 years.
As co-founder of IgniteHouse Ministries International, she is actively involved in teaching, counseling, prayer ministry as well as deliverance ministry.
Prophetess Mufunwa has been called in line with Titus 2, families are being restored as she imparts words of wisdom to countless young women, and barrenness is being broken. Her prophetic dreams have provided direction in many areas of ministry.
God expanded her ministry to impact women beyond the borders of our nation, in nations such as Malawi and Mozambique since 2013 to date.
Prior to accepting the call to full-time ministry, Prophetess Mufunwa held several senior positions in different organizations but also gladly traded her profession for the ministry.
Prophetess Mufunwa was also at the peak of her career when she heeded the call to fulltime ministry, she holds various qualifications including an honours degree.
